Based on Wikipedia, Machine Learning is the sub-field of computer science that “gives computers the ability to learn without being explicitly programmed” (Arthur Samuel, 1959).  So, in my perspective based on that statement, Machine Learning is a computer process to learn from data, the point is about how a machine “learn” and recognize human language. Data must be prepared in advance, because Machine Learning can’t work without the data. All the knowledge of Machine Learning will inevitably involve data. Data can be similar, but the algorithm will differ to obtain optimal results.

In my opinion, nowadays, Machine Learning is very useful if you are working with large amounts of data and you want to make predictions or calculations based on that data. The examples of Machine Learning usage that can be easily found in our daily activities are :

1. Spelling check feature for each language in Microsoft Word.
2. Google Translate.
3. Labeling faces on Facebook.

By using Machine Learning, I want to make an application to examine whether there is plagiarism in articles or text or not, the benefit of this application is to reduce fraud in making an article, such as a thesis, essays, reports, etc. How this application works is that the user will be asked to upload articles or text into the application and the application will show the percentage of plagiarism which contained in the text and from which source the plagiarism comes.

Odd Semester 2016/2017

HTTP was an event which held by HIMTI, the event was full of performance and interspersed with a talkshow from Alumni of Binus University. We should paid Rp.150.000,00 to join this event because we got a lot of benefits such as lunch, t-shirt, pin himti, etc.

Honestly, i don’t know what i have to write on this post because as long as my experience on FEP, I didn’t follow any organizational group, but when i was in high school i was a part OSIS, before i became a part of OSIS i was trained how to become a leader, that skill was very useful for me because when i was following GO i was elected to became WAKOMTI.

Academic orientation was held about two weeks from 7th September 2015 till 17th September 2015, this part of FEP was like a pre university life for me, so this activity was full studying in class, the subject which was taught were about Algorithm etc.

General Orientation is the first part of Freshmen Enrichment Program or we usually call it FEP.

August 3rd 2015 is my first day of FEP, on that day the first activity was introducing each one of us. In Binus University there were BC (Buddy Coordinator), in BBN 02 there were 10 BC which told us everything about Binus University from head to toe. After introducing each one of us we chose KOMTI and WAKOMTI, they were like president and vice president of class in high school after that we were playing game in group, the function of the game was to keeping us from sleep, on that day we got a book also, the book contains a lot of quick cards which contains a lot of information about FEP, SAT, EES, GOG, OK, etc.

August 4th 2015 is the second day of GO, the activity was in Auditorium, Mr. Chang (Vice rector) was our speaker, and this was our first day wore white and black uniform, the auditorium was really comfortable and it was perfect place to sleep, Mr. Chang told us about Binus University more deep.

August 5th 2015, the third day of GO. Everyday was information day about Binus University for Binusian 2019, on this day we were told about Binusian Journey which told us about what Binusian usually do in Campus and then what Binusian do after they graduated, and on this day we were told about how to use Binusmaya. After the GO on this day was over we have to practice yel-yel because we were gonna perform on 8th August 2015, but sadly I didn’t follow the activity of GO on 7 and 8 August 2015 because something.

August 6th 2015, MY FAVORITE DAY OF GO EVER !!!! The most tired day on GO also because on this day the activity was from 13.20 till 18.20, On this day the first activity was held in Auditorium because there were Bunga Rampai which was very AMAZING, Bunga Rampai was like a show for UKM and HMJ in Binus University to show off their group it can be like performing or just talking in front of us telling about their UKM/HMJ after this activity the next activity was about exam, registration, etc.

After all batch finished their General Orientation, there were Inaugurasi which was held on 3rd September 2015
